Vance County Board of Elections
|
| When filing starts for the upcoming May primary, anyone who is interested in running can go to the State Board of Elections website and complete their Notice of Candidacy Form on line. Here is the website for the State Board of Elections: www.sboe.state.nc.us . Once you’ve opened up the website, go under Candidate Filing – click on Candidate Filing Forms – go under State and Federal Elections – click on Notice of Candidacy Form for County and Legislative – this is the form that you will need to fill out. You can fill this form out on the computer and print it. If you do not want to fill it out on the computer, it can be hand written. You will need to bring this form with you to the Vance County Board of Elections office when you file. DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM! You will need to sign form in front of the Director because it has to be notarized. |
