Vance County Launches Prescription and Health Discount Program That Can Be used by All Residents
In conjunction with NACo (National Association of Counties), Vance County residents now have access to prescription, health and dental discounts, through the NACo Prescription, Health & Dental Discount Program, thus savings on treatments, procedures and supplies. It replaces the former Prescription Discount and Dental Discount Program launched previously.
The Prescription Discount Program is free to residents. The Health and Dental Discount Programs are fee-based and residents can pay either a monthly or annual fee to obtain discounts and savings. Discounts are available immediately upon enrollment. This program is not insurance, anyone can join, and there are no limits on use. There are also no age or income restrictions.
- Prescription Drug Discount Card: Free to residents
- Dental Discount Program: $6.95/month or $69/year for individuals; $8.95/month or $79/year for families
- Medical Services: $6.95/month or $69/year for individuals; $8.95/month or $79/year for families
Cards are available at the Vance County Senior Center, Social Services, H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library, Veterans Services, and the County’s Administration Office.
