CLICKĀ THEĀ HEREĀ TO REGISTER ON THE CODE RED SYSTEM
The Vance County Office of Emergency Operations has recently changed its provider for community alerts.Ā CODE REDĀ now provides this service to all residents of the City of Henderson and Vance County. This system is used to warn the public during times of extreme emergency and to get valuable information out to the public before and after a disaster.
Your land line telephone number (the number at your home or business) has already been added to this new system. If you wish to add your mobile phone please click on the link above and register for this new system. Registration is voluntary and at no cost to you.
In addition to standard voice telephone calls, this new system has the capability of sending text messages and TDD messages for hearing impaired callers.
